Discrimination Policy

The Downtown Theater Project is committed to providing all of its employees, independent contractors, and volunteers with a workplace free from discrimination and harassment. DTP does not discriminate against any employee, independent contractor, or volunteer because of race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, familial status, handicap or disability, use of guide or support animals because of the blindness, deafness or physical handicap of the user or because the user is a handler or trainer of support or guide animals, or protected activity under the antidiscrimination statutes.

In keeping with this policy, DTP reaffirms that it strongly disapproves of discrimination or harassment in any form. This prohibition covers discrimination or harassment by anyone in the workplace – supervisors, co-workers or non-employees.

As a means to ensuring a workplace that is free from discrimination and harassment, DTP has a formal procedure for the handling of all complaints of discrimination or harassment. Our complaint procedure is available for any employee, independent contractor, or volunteer in our office at 637  Philadelphia Street, Indiana, Pa 15701
